Blonde Wednesday’s Favourites

oh well hey there! Happy end of September you beautiful people. Today I wanted to share with you guys some of the purchases I made in the month of September that I’ve been really loving! I know favourites blogs/videos are super overdone, but I DON’T CARE, because I LOVE THEM and I think it’s a great way for people to find new, fun products or items for themselves. So as we get ready FOR THE BEST MONTH OF YEAR, here is what I’ve been loving over the past 4ish weeks.

Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask: I had seen this product all over Instagram, but like any ‘trending’ product, I was pretty hesitant to try it. However, I was really intrigued by the mission behind it: hydration & detoxifying. You can apply this little number on before bed and sleep with it all night! I wake up in the morning and my face feels like a juice plump peach. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who gets extremely dry skin in the winter like me! I think this one is going to save us this year.

B&BW Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds: when I die, I want to be buried in a coffin filled to the brim with this cream. It smells like everything I’ve ever wanted in moisturizer and I’m so scared to run out. Since I was probably 12 years old, I have been using the perfume Pink Sugar and haven’t changed since. What I love about Pink sugar is that it smells sweet without being overwhelmingly vanilla (which is commonly the strongest ingredient in sweet-smelling perfumes). So naturally, finding a moisturizer to match has always been difficult. But then the skies opened up and put this moisturizer on my lap and I’ve sold my soul to marshmallow.

B&BW Marshmallow Fireside Candle: so now that we’ve gotten my obsession for the marshmallow scent out of the way, this candle is pretty self explanatory. I went for the one-wick this time, because I just find the 3-wick way too strong for my small room. If you’re looking for a really fall scent, then I wouldn’t go for this one. However, if you’re looking for a sweet/calming scent then this one is your choice!

Sailor Moon Glass Mug: when I went to visit Andy in Florida, I FINALLY got the chance to roam through a Boxlunch store! As a Canadian, we don’t get access to all the cool shit so I was like a kid in a candy store. I would say I was in there for a good half hour, and tried my best not to just throw my wallet on the counter and scream ‘I’LL TAKE THE LOT’. So instead I grabbed the mug whispered, ‘I’ll take you and only you.’ And that’s the end of that story.

Sugarbones Patch and Pin: Over the weekend I made my way to Super Crawl which is a really fun event here in Ontario. The downtown area features tons of art vendors, food trucks, and live music. Although I have never been able to see Sugarbones booth up close, my mom managed to find it the night she attended. Naturally, I had her Facetime me so I could pick out what I wanted through the phone. This year I managed to snag the Powerpuff girls ‘call me’ patch, and her sleepy usagi pin (both of which I have been DYING to own for quite some time now).

Sonny Angel: I think that’s what you call the little naked babies I’ve been featuring all over my Instagram lately! But I’ve also heard people call them ‘Kewpies’. In any case, these little guys have been taking the beauty/skin care community by STORM. I would say every other #topshelfie photo I’ve seen in the past month has featured a little naked baby somewhere in the photo (likely standing beside a Glossier product). They are just little dolls you can find in Chinatown (or anywhere on eBay) that make the cutest, most random decorations in your house. If you’ve seen my Insta stories lately, then you’d now I accidentally purchased a pack of 12 off Alibaba… so I’m stocked with tiny plastic naked babies for the foreseeable future.
